I mainly work in collage although I often add elements of painting, drawing and stitching to my images too, and I love playing with my typewriter and photocopying anything I can find. I have an ever-expanding collection of old photographs, books, fabrics and general 'junk' that I have picked up from charity shops, market stalls and been given by grandparents over the years, which I find very inspirational as I enjoy creating playful, dreamlike imagery. By working with collage I am able to play with the composition of various pieces of imagery to create these scenes, which are often spontaneous and surprising
