Mask Making
Ynot Festival
As part of Y-Not 2010 'Them Lot' were invited to run a mask making workshop on the Saturday of the festival to coincide with the fancy dress theme.
Children, teenagers and parents alike all enjoyed getting creative with us in the big top and there were some excellent masks made.
With masks made we got some of our budding artists to pose for some 'action' photographs which we then turned into mini-animations.
Ynot Festival
As part of the Sunday program at the 2010 'Y-Not festival' we were invited to run an animation workshop.
With the help of a specially built zoetrope we wanted to introduce some simple animation techniques that pre-date computers and televisions and let our 'work-shoppers' revel in the glory of the moving image!
Everyone had a great time and there were some fantastic animations created.

Sir John Cass Primary School
Mark Long and Mark Oliver worked with the House of Illustration to deliver a series of workshops teaching science through illustration.
They worked with years 5 and 6 students to create works from a variety of collage techniques
Sharmans Cross Junior School
James took an unopened envelope into several primary schools. He ran imaginative workshops based around the mystery of the content within the envelope.
The resulting work was exhibited along with art created by professional artists in the Solihull Arts Complex. Have alook at the Events section for more details.

Solihull
James and Mark spent a day in the Solihull Library running a giant advent calendar workshop. Kids and parents helped to decide the design of the calender.
